10 VEGETABLES YOU CAN BUY ONCE AND REGROW FOREVER!

Health matters, and eating healthy is the only way to ward off infections and diseases. Your meals should consist of organic fruits and veggies, and the only bad thing is that these go bad pretty fast.

There are at least two solutions to every problem, and growing your own vegetables is one of the options you should consider.

We give you 10 easy-to-grow veggies, so you just feel free and finish the article.

  1. Asparagus

It’s an early spring vegetable. When grown properly, you can enjoy its produce for 25 years. Seeds need more time to mature, which means that planting crowns is a smarter option. Don’t overwater your asparagus, otherwise it will rot.

  1. Garlic

Did you know that a single garlic clove can give you more than 10 cloves? Garlic is a perfect addition to salads, pasta, stews and soups.

Put the sprout in a glass filled with water. Keep it near your window or outside, if it’s warm. Plant the sprouts once they grow a couple of inches in height.

Make sure you use a large pot and high-quality soil. You will notice the first leaves within a few days. Harvest your garlic once the leaves turn brown and fall out.

  1. Carrots

Carrots can grow from carrot tops. Soak them in a dish filled with water, and keep it near your window. Carrots need more sunlight. Sometimes the new carrots have a bitter taste, but when combined with vinegar and garlic, they are super tasty.

  1. Bok Choy

Soak the root end in water, and keep it in a sunny spot. Wait for a couple of weeks, and plant the vegetable in a pot. You will soon notice the new “head” growing out.

  1. Romaine lettuce

Use the bottom of the head to regrow your lettuce. Soak it in a glass that’s a half inch filled with water. Plant the Romaine lettuce once you notice new roots and leaves coming out.

Cabbages can be regrown in the same way.
